The blue window series is all about perception. The concept started with the idea that looking into a little glowing window at night allows us to see only a portion of a stranger’s life.

When you focus your eyes only on the blue portion, a drastically different mood comes over you than if you look at the image as a whole. You get a sense of life inside the window, but you can’t understand what life is like on the other side.

The windows ask you to consider empathy. They remind you of what you can’t know.
